Our Story

We are Michaela & Harrison, the owners of My Pour Decisions, thank you for showing interest in our baby, aka our business! Michaela was born and raised in Montana, which is why we chose to start our small business here. However, we met each other working at the same winery in the Napa Valley. Harrison had moved there to be close to his family and begin a career in the wine industry. Michaela moved there originally for a harvest internship. We both decided to work as wine educators and met working for Duckhorn at Paraduxx winery. With a similar interest in wine, cooking, travel and just having a great time, it was only a matter of time until the two of us got together. 

Even before we met, the both of us have always had the “entrepreneurial spirit” within us. Michaela has started a business in the past and is constantly coming up with new ideas while Harrison’s Mom owns her own business which has always inspired him to work for himself. Having this in our blood, we both greatly understood the pros & cons of being an entrepreneur. And thankfully we completely threw away the cons portion of the list, and only focused on the pros. We quit our 9-5 jobs in March of 2022 to officially start My Pour Decisions.

We packed everything we owned and moved back to where Michaela grew up (Montana) to start our entrepreneurial journey! Since quitting our jobs and starting My Pour Decisions we have spent a lot more time together (which we love), learned to sail, traveled around the world, and made countless couples forever happy on the most special day of their lives.

We’re a duo with over 10 years each in the hospitality world and a whole lot of love for what we do. Weddings are our favorite kind of celebration, and we truly appreciate every couple and every event we get to be part of. No two are ever the same, and that’s what makes it so special. Creating unforgettable experiences is our passion! One day, we hope to own our own wedding venue and pour wine we made ourselves, we’re thrilled to raise a glass with you on your best day ever!
